Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador is committed to promoting stability and development of the financial system, as established in its Mission.

Its Organic Law, in Art. 3,  requires the Bank to maintain liquidity and stability of the financial system; to promote development of an efficient financial system, competitive and solvent; and to control credit expansion of the financial system.
